From Business: Founded in 1996, Trex Company is one of the largest manufacturers of wood alternative decking, railing and fencing products for residential and commercial. We take care of our team because we know it takes great people to make a great product. They started hiring new people and paying them more than what people who been there for 2 years were and did all these incentives for new employees but didn’t do a single thing for the workers they had there already. Trex rewards hard work and get-it-done attitudes with great benefits and pay.
Not only this but when I was let go it took a total of 6 weeks to get my last check because “payroll didn’t pick it up since I was let go” this company is by far the worse company ever and do not care about their lower employees! When you go for an interview the butter you up like it’s the best company ever but it’s a trap this company is manipulating and just overall an awful place to work. I was in a very severe car accident on 81 and when they brought me in they told me I had until Monday to get an approval from ADA which shouldn’t be my job since I did everything on my end and they should have been contacting them to figure out what’s going on not me and not to mention they did this on a Friday, They had me work my whole shift except for an hour and half of it brought me and told me I had until Monday to get an approval or I’m terminated so I couldn’t call Friday since they were closed by the time they told me this information so I had to wait until Monday morning to try and call ADA. I was fired because I was bed rest by doctor’s orders from a car accident and filled out my ADA paperwork but since neither an approval or denial was made yet they let me go because it looked like I had 25 missed days.
